Personal plea for HELP: My ancient Apple LaserWriter 360 is sick…
My Apple LaserWriter Select 360 laserprinter has lasted for 15 years, 5 moves and countless pieces of paper. Now it’s on the fritz and I’m torn between upgrading and reluctance to kill a solid old workhorse when it encounters its first problem. I either need somebody in L.A. or the San Fernando Valley to fix it onsite (it’s so huge that shipping it somewhere would be akin to the cost of a new printer) or I need a recommendation for a good printer/fax combination that can network with both Apples and PCs.
Any advice, oh collective consciousness?

Saith my office tech guru (Matt) sez “Get an HP all-in-one… scanner/copier/printer… They do great color work, excellent black and white – is compatible with ANYTHING and is well priced.”
