Palin VP Debate Hair Watch: Day 3
This week, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd cuttingly characterized Governor Palin’s first interview with CBS Anchorwoman Katie Couric as “junior varsity.”
It looks like we have a second round coming up tonight (although it might have been last night as CBS News doesn’t do a good job of date-marking its videos). Note two things in the clip below: 1) Palin still seems to shoot herself in the foot at every opportunity; 2) her hair is up.

I swear, if these Luddites take the Whitehouse I am seriously moving to Vancouver. I do not know if it is the pitch of her voice that sets me off, that she lives in the county in Alaska with the highest number of Meth labs in the country, or that the lemmings watching her cheer her on with mindless enthusiasm.
I have always been a supporter of a free and open democracy where everyone gets a vote. I am now coming to the opinion that media has so dumbed down the country that there should be a basic skills and competency test on issues, politics and our government to vote.
“Free Will” is America is an illusionary concept now. It has evaporated with the ability of modern media to manipulate the populace. Well, at least those who mindlessly turn into the pict-o-cube to get their daily dose of Fox News skewed dictates.
News is not Facts. News is now an entertainment medium separated from the factual occurrences on our planet. It is no longer reported without bias as neutral parties, but has fractured into skewed manipulation cadres designed to increase advertiser dollars. Oh crap… it IS all our fault…
