Palin VP Debate Hair Watch: Day 2
Continuing with Saturday’s note about how if Governor Palin wears her hair down and ear-covering at the VP debate this week it might mean that she is wearing a transmitter in her ear and getting coached from offstage…
I don’t see any new images of Palin in my quick tour through the online newspapers this morning, but over at the Washington Post Robin Givhan’s piece on Governor Palin’s “exceptionally ordinary” style (and how that choice is powerful) is worth a look. See in particular the photo gallery that shows that even when her hair is down, Palin’s ears are usually visible.
In other news, don’t miss the second Tina Fey and Amy Poehler opening to Saturday Night Live from Saturday, where Fey’s only-a-tiny-bit-exaggerated rendition of Palin’s complete ignorance is both devastatingly funny and terrifying.
Let’s hope than SNL continues to skewer this vice presidential candidate’s complete lack of qualifications for the job. As Aaron Sorkin observed in a recent Maureen Dowd column (channeling the voice of his fictional president Bartlet), “I don’t know whether or not Governor Palin has the tenacity of a pit bull, but I know for sure she’s got the qualifications of one.”

amen brother. terrifying. absolutely terrifying. and today, we have the ignorant republicans responding to their ignorant constituents and not approving the bailout plan. these are troubling times indeed.
