Albert Einstein on Advertising

26 March 2007 | Internet, Marketing, Media | Comments

This week, I’m at iMedia’s 2nd annual Breakthrough Summit in which we cover the NEW new marketing channels: games, mobile and video.

In a panel discussion on new forms of content today, the speakers were arguing back and forth about the right length of a commercial for an online video ad. Is it the traditional thirty second spot? Less? More? For some reason, my head went to my favorite Einstein quote:

“When you sit with a nice girl for two hours, you think it’s only a minute. But when you sit on a hot stove for a minute, you think it’s two hours. That’s relativity.”

It ain’t about the length.
